🎃 When to Trick-or-Treat?

The Gist: There are no official trick-or-treating hours set by the City of Knoxville or Knox County, so plan on the usual Halloween evening rounds on Thursday, Oct. 31. Most families head out around dusk and wrap up by 9 p.m.
Why It Matters: Whether you’re handing out candy or escorting your little ghosts and goblins, you can follow neighborhood cues for timing. Downtown Knoxville hosts trick-or-treating from 4–8 p.m., and West Town Mall offers an indoor event for kids 12 and under from 5–8 p.m. on Halloween night. Read more here.

Why It Matters: It’s a landmark moment for Knoxville sports fans, marking the club’s rise in just four years.
What’s Next: The team hosts its first-ever playoff game at Covenant Health Park on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. Read more here.

Meet Nico, a 10-week-old, 6-lb Chihuahua mix who’s equal parts fluff and fun.
This busy little pup loves to play, explore, and cuddle up once he’s tuckered out.
He’s learning his potty manners and looking for a home where someone’s around most of the day to guide him along.
No apartments or young kids, please: his bark and sharp baby teeth are better suited to a house with grown-ups. Adoption fee is $175.
