🥂 Romance, rhythm, and a little extra magic

111 E Jackson Ave #103, Knoxville, TN

With its sweeping cherry blossom canopy and soft lighting, Fiori is leaning into its natural charm for the season.

While it’s an effortless choice for a quiet Valentine’s date over lobster pasta alla vodka, the energy shifts on the 19th for their "Sip. Serve. Slay." drag dinner. It’s a soulful, high-glamour evening celebrating Black Girl Magic and local legacy.

Between the hand-shaken cocktails and the electric atmosphere, the room promises to be one of the most vibrant spots in the city.

🕯️ Warm glows and cold scoops for local pairs

4408 Tillery Dr, Knoxville, TN

If you need a little extra warmth, the corner of the neighborhood where City Crafts thrives is currently smelling like a mix of custom wax and waffle cones.

This studio has built a reputation for turning simple gatherings into something much more tactile, whether you are mixing body butters or pressing glitter into a hand-poured candle.

Their current collaboration with NikNaks Ice Cream invites neighbors to slow down and create something together. While your two custom-scented candles set, you can split a Sweetheart Sundae and enjoy a cozy atmosphere that feels deeply rooted in our community.

🌲 A New Way to Explore the Urban Wilderness

The Gist: The Urban Wilderness Gateway Park is now officially open at the end of James White Parkway. This vibrant space features a 23,000 square foot plaza equipped with a playscape, climbing areas, and colorful slides built right into the natural landscape. Visitors can enjoy practical comforts like picnic tables, shaded seating, a water station, and new restrooms.

Why It Matters: This park creates a welcoming front door for our community to access fifty miles of trails and greenways. You can now visit the park daily to explore the new pavilion or walk the short path to the nearby Baker Creek Bike Park.

🎭 A Fresh Look for the Tennessee Amphitheater Soon

The Gist: Crews are beginning a series of major updates at World’s Fair Park to preserve our historic amphitheater. This project involves replacing the iconic roof, installing modern LED lighting, and repairing the steel and concrete structures.

Why It Matters: These upgrades ensure that a cherished local landmark remains a safe and beautiful space for our community to gather for years to come.

What’s Next: The amphitheater will remain closed during construction, with a grand reopening planned for March 2027.
